LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Tighten those seat belts. The wild ride called the Stanley Cup Final has arrived in Las Vegas for two games.

In Game 1 in North Carolina, the Vegas Golden Knights trailed by two goals and rallied to win, 5-4.

In Game 2, the Carolina Hurricanes were down by two goals with about nine minutes left in the final period and staged a third period comeback before tying the Best-of-7 Cup Final with 4-3 win in overtime.

Game 3 is at T-Mobile Arena Saturday, while Game 4 is set for Tuesday.

On Friday, ESPN and arena workers were setting up cameras, souvenir stands and concessions points of sale.

The NHL has lined up ILLENIUM to headline a free concert before Game 3 Saturday at the plaza outside T-Mobile Arena. The performance is slated for 3 PM Vegas time.

On the game tickets front, a source told LVSportsBiz.com that the Golden Knights stopped selling tickets to brokers, which prompted ticket resellers to squawk. When given the opportunity to discuss his beef with the VGK’s ticket policy, a broker said he did not want to go public.

Seat Geek, one of many secondary market ticket resellers, has a ticket for $648 to get into Saturday’s Game 3.

Despite the Golden Knights’ attempt to shield goalie Carter Hart from media questions about his acquittal in a very controversial and high-profile sexual assault case, media outlets are still reporting on the Hart back story like this CBC article out of Canada.

VGK coach John Tortorella has had a magical ride to Game 3 of the Cup Final. He was 7-0-1 in his eight games as head coach to finish the regular season. Then it was 4-2 over Utah, 4-2 over Anaheim and 4-0 over the Colorado Avalanche and 1-1 so far for the ultimate prize, the Stanley Cup Final. That’s 20 wins, five losses and a tie in his 26 games so far between regular and post seasons.
