You may have noticed that you don’t see Mark Davis and Bill Foley in the same place too often.

It’s because the two major league team owners in Las Vegas are quite the Odd Couple pursuing life’s adventures and fun in fundamentally different places.

Just today, a friend sent me a text showing a Tweet by @RaiderMcKay of Davis chowing down on a burger at an In-N-Out.

The comments came as fast as, well, fast food.

Meanwhile, the BBC today tweeted comments made by LVSportsBiz.com about Foley, who is in the midst of buying the AFC Bournemouth soccer team in the Premier League.

As the BBC’s Lewis Coombes posted here, Foley landed in Bournemouth today in hopes of closing the deal to add the Premier League team to his very diverse business portfolio of wineries, sports teams and finance companies.

We have reported many stories showing how Davis is one of the most personable and accessible NFL team owners.

He talks with fans all the time at Raiders and Las Vegas Aces games and I have personally seen Davis sign people’s arm casts, construction workers’ hard hats and even the palm of a fan’s hand.

That’s not exactly Foley’s style.

You’ll see Foley at wineries, not In-N-Out burger joints, and he takes pride in being a self-described “serial dealmaker.”

If we hear any news about Foley’s visit in Bournemouth to buy the soccer team, LVSportsBiz will pass it along.
