With temperatures forecast to hit the triple-digit mark both Friday and Saturday for Raiders and UNLV football games, Allegiant Stadium has installed a cooling tent in a parking lot where the COVID-19 testing and shot verification tent used to be last season.

The Raiders host the New England Patriots at 5:15PM today, while the UNLV Rebels play Idaho State at 12:30PM Saturday.

When Raiders fans were allowed in the stadium in 2021 and the concerts and events were staged, the stadium put out water stations on the Hacienda Boulevard bridge, which connects hotels and the Strip on the east of Interstate 15 with Allegiant Stadium on the west side.

LVSportsBiz.com will be at the stadium at 1 PM for coverage of Patriots vs Raiders in the final preseason game before the Las Vegas Raiders play the Los Angeles Chargers in the regular season-opener in LA on Sept. 11.

RTC will also be having its special bus service to today’s Raiders game.
