Nevada’s Sportsbooks Handle Dropped To $4.3 Billion in 2020 From $5.3 Billion in 2019 Because Of Pandemic

Nevada’s sportsbooks handled a total of $4.3 billion for 2020, including $588.4 million in sports wagers in December, according to state of Nevada Gaming Control Board numbers.

Take a look at the date supplied by Michael Lawton, senior research analyst for the state agency that regulates sports betting. You will notice the annual handle of $4.3 billion is a drop from the 2019 number of $5.3 billion in light of the pandemic knocking out chunks of the sports scene.
