LAS VEGAS, Nevada — And another one.

The NFL Las Vegas Raiders named another head coach Monday.

He’s former Seattle Seahawks Offensive Coordinator Klint Kubiak, fresh off a Super Bowl 60 win over the New England Patriots Sunday night.

Klint Kubiak is the son of former Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, who coached the Broncos to a Super Bowl 50 win a decade ago.

The 38-year-old Klint Kubiak, a former Colorado State safety, confirmed in a TV interview last night after the Seahawks win that he was going to be the Raiders coach. Kubiak turns 39 in eight days.

Kubiak fits the modern NFL head coach template of a young offensive-minded strategist with Rams head coach Sean McVay, 40, serving as the prototype.

The Raiders sent a media release today with the news of Kubiak’s hiring.

Here in Las Vegas, Kubiak follows Pete Carroll, Antonio Pierce (interim and permanent), Josh McDaniels, Rich Bisaccia (interim) and Jon Gruden.

The Raiders were 3-14 in 2025 under Carroll, the worst record in the NFL. The team, with its No. 1 overall draft pick, is expected to select Indiana Heisman-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza in April’s NFL Draft.

The Raiders were 4-13 under Pierce in 2024.

The last time the Raiders won a playoff game was during the 2002 season, nearly a quarter-century ago.

The Raiders built and manage Allegiant Stadium, a publicly-subsidized domed stadium that has helped the NFL franchise gain in value to the tune of $8 billion under owner Mark Davis.

It’s no secret that Kubiak’s forte is offense. In 2022, Kubiak worked as the Broncos’ offensive passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach after coaching three seasons with the Vikings (2019-21), the first two seasons as quarterbacks coach and one year as offensive coordinator.

He was the San Francisco 49ers offensive passing game specialist in 2023.

In 2024, Kubiak served as the New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator. Former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was his quarterback in New Orleans.

In 2025, was the Seahawks offensive coordinator as Seattle won 14 of 17 regular season games en route to the NFL title secured a day ago.

It’s clear the Raiders will need massive improvement to its offensive line and a new quarterback. Davis,  minority owner Tom Brady and General Manager John Spytek are counting on Kubiak to turn the franchise around.
