LAS VEGAS. Nevada — The F1 race on the Strip was Nov. 22 and Clark County and the Las Vegas Grand Prix alerted people on New Year’s Eve that the dismantling of the 3.8-mile track is done.
It took 39 days to complete the dismantling of the concrete barriers, fencing and light mounts.
The road work in the Strip corridor was part of a 17-week F1 track program where roads and lanes are closed to install and take apart the track.
The two-hour car race takes about a third of the year from September to the end of December to put in the track and then take it apart.
