LAS VEGAS, Nevada — It was pure Vegas at T-Mobile Arena Friday when Bruno Mars Day and college hockey’s Frozen Four blended at mid-day at the 10-year-old arena.
Bruno Mars was honored with a parade down the Strip and the renaming of the street that runs right by the arena, while Wisconsin and Denver hockey teams practiced with their head coaches chatting with media about Saturday’s NCAA championship game.
Bruno Mars fans gathered on the arena plaza outside. Inside, Wisconsin hockey coach Mike Hastings said winning the NCAA hockey crown would make Wisconsin alumni happy during his presser.
A look at ticket prices for Saturday’s game shows the cost starts at $112.
