LAS VEGAS, Nevada — After the NFL staged Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas in Feb. 2024, LVSportsBiz.com is predicting the league will select the Vegas market to host the 2029 Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium.

The NFL owners are voting on the next Super Bowl host during next week’s owners meeting. With SoFi Stadium in Inglewood/LA hosting in 2027 and Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosting in 2028, LVSportsBiz.com believes Las Vegas will be the choice for 2029.

There are several reasons why Vegas is the frontrunner to host the big game in Feb. 2029.

First, Vegas tourism leaders are fast to open the LVCVA budget to pay the price to host, which can be in the $55 million range.

Plus, Las Vegas has superb infrastructure to host the NFL’s premier game event, with its airport, stadium, a big convention center and hotels all located within a few miles of each other.

And let’s face it, Clark County elected officials and staffers are also easily bedazzled by big sports events, so expect county government to accommodate the NFL’s wishes.

The LVSportsBiz.com Top 5 power rankings for Super Bowl hosts are Las Vegas, New Orleans, LA, Atlanta and Phoenix/Glendale. The NFL also likes to award a Super Bowl to a NFL market that spends public dollars on building a new stadium, so Nashville will likely host a Super Bowl in the future after the 2029 game goes likely to Las Vegas.
