As remarkable as it seems, the Florida Panthers remain the sole NHL team to qualify for the Stanley Cup Finals after Dallas defeated the Vegas Golden Knights in overtime Thursday to keep the Stars alive in the Western Conference Finals.

The Golden Knights led, 2-1, at one point in Game 4 in Dallas, but the VGK could not put away the Stars as Dallas’ Jason Robertson scored the equalizer late in period two and crafty veteran Joe Pavelski notched the game-winner three minutes and 18 seconds into OT to force Game 5 at T-Mobile Arena at 5 PM Saturday.

The Knights’ William Karlsson opened the scoring in the first period, while fellow Misfit Jonathan Marchessault gave the Knights a 2-1 lead in period two.

Both goaltenders — Adin Hill of Vegas and Jake Oettinger of Dallas — played well.

The Knights had won five straight games — the final two games against Edmonton to win Round 2 in six games and the first three games against the Stars in the conference finals.

ABC will televise Game 5 in Las Vegas Saturday.

Secondary ticket market reseller Stub Hub has the cheapest ticket at $146 for standing room only in the Hyde Lounge.

Golden Knights fans were surprised by boxer Mike Tyson, a local klas Vegas area guy, wearing the Stars jersey and rooting for Dallas while taking the game in a suite,

The Knights game starts at 5 PM. At 6 PM, the WNBA Las Vegas Aces play their home-opener when the defending league champs raise their title banner and receive their championship rings.
