After Allegiant Stadium hosted Concacaf’s championship Gold Cup soccer game as its first soldout sports event in summer 2021, Concacaf said its international semifinal and final soccer games are scheduled to be played inside the Las Vegas Raiders’ stadium in June.

International soccer games are not new to the NFL domed venue. Though, the 2026 World Cup, which will be played in 16 cities across Mexico, U.S. and Canada, will not have games at Allegiant Stadium because the facility’s retractable field tray was not wide enough to meet World Cup playing field standards.

The Concacaf Nations League semifinals are set for June 15 and a third place match and final are slated for June 18. The United States won this soccer event in 2021. In case you’re wondering or curious, Concacaf stands for the Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Association Football. And here’s a little-known nugget: It’s one of FIFA’s six continental confederations, servicing 41 Member Associations, from Canada in the north to Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana in the south.

Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) President/CEO, Steve Hill, said: “Following the overwhelming success of the Concacaf Gold Cup Final in 2021, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome the Concacaf Nations League Finals to Las Vegas this June.”

“We’re delighted to have Concacaf return to Allegiant Stadium this June with Nations League Finals. The swell of energy these teams and their fans bring to our facility and the entire city is incomparable, and we look forward to continuing to bring global sporting events like these to Las Vegas alongside our partners at the LVCVA,” Allegiant Stadium General Manager Chris Wright said in a prepared statement.
