Raiders/Aces owner Mark Davis

It’s Las Vegas Aces vs Las Vegas Raiders (Again) Saturday; Aces/Raiders Owner Mark Davis Will Be In Las Vegas For Aces Playoff Game

Mark Davis has to choose again: Aces game or Raiders game.

But this time Davis, who owns both the NFL Raiders and WNBA Aces, can’t attend both games like he did on Sunday here in Las Vegas.

On Saturday, the Aces host the Phoenix Mercury in Game 2 of the Best-of-3 first round playoffs in Las Vegas and the Miami Dolphins host the Raiders in South Florida in a preseason game.

Davis told LVSportsBiz.com before Aces-Phoenix Game 1 Wednesday that he will be here in Las Vegas for Game 2 Saturday and not in Miami for the Raiders-Dolphins preseason game.

Davis said Saturday is different from Sunday when the Aces had a 12 noon game against Seattle at Mandalay Bay’s Michelob Ultra Arena and the Raiders played Minnesota at 1:25 PM at Allegiant Stadium  across the interstate.

Davis watched the Aces beat Seattle and then went over to the NFL stadium in the second quarter to watch the Raiders beat the Vikings in the exhibition game.

This time on Saturday, the Aces are in Las Vegas for a 6 PM game while the Raiders are across the country in South Florida for the 4 PM preseason game. There’s no way to attend both games, Davis said.
