Four years ago, Gov. Steve Sisolak was Nevada governor candidate Steve Sisolak and he used video images from Vegas Golden Knights games and his love for sports in his TV spots on the political campaign trail.

Now, Sisolak is back to the future for his re-election bid for Nevada governor, unveiling an updated sports-theme TV spot as he faces Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo for the state’s top executive position.

Sisolak touted his love for sports again in Tuesday’s new gubernatorial re-election TV spot, claiming sports have pumped billions of dollars into the economy.

It’s no secret that Sisolak is a Raiders and Golden Knights fan, wearing the teams’ jerseys for outings.
