More Business Changes At Raiders: Vice President of Human Resources No Longer With NFL Team; Jeremy Aguero Resigns From Operations/Analytics Executive Position

Business personnel changes continue at the Las Vegas Raiders. And this time, it’s the Raiders’ HR chief who is gone.

LVSportsBiz.com has learned Vice President of Human Resources Jaime Stratton is no longer with the Raiders organization.

The Raiders informed staff that Stratton no longer works for the Raiders and that, “If you have any questions regarding Human Resources matters, please direct them to Jennifer Levine or Sean Bustos. Thank you.” Stratton was the Raiders human resources head since March 2020.

In addition, a source informed LVSportsBiz.com about the departure of Raiders Chief Operations and Analytics Officer Jeremy Aguero, a former Las Vegas stadium board consultant who joined the Raiders last year. Aguero joined the Raiders staff under a business reorganization at the NFL team.

Before joining the Raiders as an executive, Aguero helped guide the public authority on the construction of the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium. When serving as the stadium board’s consultant, Aguero was the principal for Applied Analysis in Las Vegas. Aguero often spoke at local gatherings about economic trends and the sports industry’s growth in the Las Vegas market.

Aguero is also a member of the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee, which is preparing to help stage the Super Bowl here in Las Vegas in 2024.

The Raiders’ new business team at the time also featured the hires of Michael Crome as chief financial officer and Kevin Manara as general counsel under team president Dan Ventrelle.

Ventrelle replaced former team president and 30-year Raiders employee Marc Badain, who resigned last July. Only two months ago, Badain resurfaced publicly as a consultant working with Tim Leiweke’s Oak View Group in an effort to build a 20,000-seat arena that is the centerpiece of a $3 billion proposed entertainment district at Las Vegas Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road south of the Strip.

LVSportsBiz.com has reached out to Ventrelle, Aguero and the team’s PR chief, Will Kiss, for comments about the moves. We have not heard back. If we receive any comments, we will include those in this story.
