It's Las vegas and the LVCVA is the main sponsor of the ballpark so it's showgirls for Big League Weekend.

Swing And A Miss Again: Major League Baseball Wipes Out Big League Weekend March 18 and 19

By Alan Snel of LVSportsBiz.com

There’s no joy in Summerlin-ville.

Major League Baseball has canceled Big League Weekend set for March 18 and 19 at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin.

The two spring training games between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies are off. MLB is planning to have all 30 teams play their entire spring training schedules exclusively in Arizona and Florida, so Las Vegas is out.

Fans who purchased tickets to these games through ticketmaster.com will be refunded to the credit card used to purchase tickets. Remember that refunds through ticketmaster.com can take up to 30 days.

Aviators season and group ticket buyers will be contacted directly by the ticket office with various options for Big League Weekend tickets that were purchased.

The complete Spring Training schedule is available on mlb.com.
