Bettors Place Nearly Record $180 Million Of Wagers on Sunday’s Super Bowl In Nevada’s Sports Books With Books Winning $15.4 Million

Sports gamblers wagered nearly $180 million on Sunday’s Super Bowl in Nevada’s 179 sports books, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

The sports books won $15,413,228 on wagers totaling $179,823,715 — a win of 8.6 percent, according to the gaming control board.

With the record Super Bowl wagers of $179.8 million in Nevada you could have built the Las Vegas Aviators’ baseball park, which cost $150 million two years ago — and have almost $30 million left over.
