After the COVID-19 pandemic devastated the show and concert industry in 2020, the ticket sale gross numbers stormed back in 2021, according to the Pollstar Magazine 2021 yearend report released this week.

Las Vegas’ concert venues were at the top of gross sales rankings in arenas and theaters and made a strong showing in the stadium rankings, too.

Pollstar looked at worldwide ticket sales for concerts and shows during the period of Nov. 18, 2020 to Nov. 17, 2021. Sports events are not included.

T-Mobile Arena ranked first in gross, while MGM Grand Garden Arena was right behind in second. MGM Resorts International is a part-owner of T-Mobile Arena and owns MGM Grand Garden Arena. Here’s the Pollstar rankings:

In the theater category, Park Theater at Park MGM ranked first, while the Colosseum at Caesars Palace was fourth followed by the Mirage Theatre in sixth, according to Pollstar’s year end numbers.

Even Allegiant Stadium, which did not allow fans inside the venue until June, had a top 10 finish in the stadium rankings along with the Downtown Las Vegas venue.
