The Minnesota Wild came visiting to Las Vegas. So, naturally it was just another wild and crazy game between the Golden Knights and the Wild Sunday evening.

Knights defenseman Zach Whitecloud scored two goals.

Minnesota scored with less than a second left in the first period and only nine seconds into the second period.

And there was even a marriage proposal in a fan contest on the arena castle stage.

When the ice shavings settled, the Golden Knights had themselves a 6-4 win to soothe some of the hurt from a 4-3 loss to Philadelphia two nights ago before the VGK hit the road for a trip to the east coast.

VGK high-scoring forward Max Pacioretty gave the Knights a 4-3 lead in period two.

But the VGK could not keep that lead. In the third period, Minnesota’s Marcus Foligno poked in the tying goal after Knights netminder Robin Lehner failed to catch a shot. The puck dribbled in front of an open net after Lehner didn’t glove the puck and Foligno had an easy goal for his 13th of the season.

But it didn’t take long for the Golden Knights to reclaim the lead. Mark Stone scored the VGK’s second power play goal into an open net and the Knights were up, 5-4, in the third.

Stone’s goal celebrations are becoming legendary as let loose with high fives after his goal.

Chandler Stephenson, who missed the loss to Philadelphia two night ago, assisted on the Stone goal. It was his fourth assist on the night. Stephenson missed the Philly game to attend the funeral of his grandmother in western Canada.

Alex Pietrangelo added an empty-netter and the Golden Knights polished off the 6-4 win over Minnesota.

The Knights said attendance was 18,001. The VGK franchise leads the NHL in attendance percent capacity at 104 percent because the Golden Knights say their fixed seat capacity is 17,367 in T-Mobile Arena.

The VGK improved to 16-11 and head to the east coast for a road trip.
