More Than 6,000 Fans Received First COVID-19 Vaccination Shots To Attend Raiders’ MNF Game At Allegiant Stadium

There about 300 first vaccination shots given at Allegiant Stadium before the Raiders’ exciting win  over the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.

In all, there were more than 6,000 Monday Night Football game fans who received their first vaccination shots at sites either away from Allegiant Stadium or at the COVID-19 screening tent. Game attendance was announced at 61,756.

Here’s a summary of the alternate screening tent activities from Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

  • Over 10,000 used alternate screening over three days
  • Over 7,000 used alternate screening on gameday
  • Over 6,000 received first vaccinations…either onsite on gameday (around 300) …or at other sites and were verified to attend the game

The Raiders’ next game is Sunday in Pittsburgh against the Steelers and Las Vegas returns to Allegiant Stadium for a Sept. 26 showdown with the Miami Dolphins.

The Raiders are the first NFL team to require all fans attending home games to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19, the coronavirus that has killed 663,000 Americans.
