They came for the green bracelet, the visual sign around their wrist that they were good to go to enter the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium of Monday Night Football (hit the music intro).

NFL fans were already lined up early for the 1PM start for the “alternate screening” session for workers to help fans with the COVID-19 vaccination requirement and the CLEAR app that must be downloaded and used to attend the Raiders vs Baltimore Ravens MNF game in two days,

LVSportsBiz.com talked to fans waiting on line and they had an assortment of app issues.

One fan was there with his daughter and wanted to find out how to get her inside the building for the Raiders game Monday.

Some fans were having problems downloading the CLEAR app to even show proof of their COVID vaccinations.

Other fans wanted to show proof of vaccination with an immunization other than the Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer shots.

The tent opened at 12:30 PM because there were so many people, said Glen Simpson, director of special operations for Community Ambulance who was overseeing the alternative screening.

The alternate screening runs until 6 PM Saturday and is scheduled for 1PM-6PM Sunday and is open again at 1 PM Monday, Simpson said.

Raiders owner Mark Davis’s announcement that all fans would be required to show proof of immunization to attend home games in Las Vega was big news last month because the Raiders are currently the only NFL team to make such a requirement. The New Orleans Saints require either COVID vax proof or a negative virus test result. But because of the recent hurricane’s impact on New Orleans, the Saints vs Packers game was moved to Jacksonville for Sunday.

People who are partially vaccinated with one shot will have to wear a mask inside Allegiant Stadium Monday. Fans can also get inoculated at the stadium.
