Ultimate Vaccination Shot Bribe: Go Inside Allegiant Stadium For Free To Get Vaccinated Against COVID-19

By Alan Snel of LVSportsBiz.com

There’s a free way to get into Allegiant Stadium without paying the $53.10 Nevada resident fee for a stadium tour or the thousands of dollars for the personal seat licenses and game tickets paid by season ticket holders.

Just get a COVID-19 vaccination at the Las Vegas Raiders’ stadium later this month from June 10-13 and June 17-20.

The vaccination clinic will offer the Pfizer and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine beginning at 2PM each day. The last appointments will be available until 7:45PM. the Southern Nevada Health District is encouraging people make appointments to get a vaccine at www.snhd.info/covid-vaccine.

Allegiant Stadium has been a partner throughout the response. It is a venue that provides a unique experience for people who haven’t been vaccinated, and the location may also encourage those who have been waiting to make their appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine. — Jennifer Sizemore, public information officer for Southern Nevada Health District

Walk-ins will be accommodated based on clinic capacity each day.

There has been no mention of Raiders coach Jon Gruden being at the vaccination clinic and yelling, “Hey man,” and urging on the clinic workers to give more shots.

The COVID-19 vaccines will be given in the Modelo Cantina Club on the 100 level overlooking the football field. People receiving the vaccine will receive a “rally towel” and have the opportunity to take a photo in a designated area.

“We are hopeful that this rare opportunity to go inside Allegiant Stadium will motivate residents to get vaccinated,” Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft, whose district includes the stadium, said.  “For anyone who has been waiting for the right time this unique experience will be safe, convenient, and free.”

It should be noted that Southern Nevada contributed a record $750 million toward construction of the $1.4 billion stadium, which was the main part of a $2 billion overall stadium project.

Park in stadium lots E and F of the stadium, and get to the clinic area through the southeast entrance.

The Vegas Golden Knights partnered in a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on the T-Mobile Arena plaza May 15  before a VGK game and the Las Vegas Aviators’ baseball park in Downtown Summerlin will host a vax clinic June 5 from 9AM-1 PM.

People who may need assistance or children under the age of 18 may be accompanied by one additional person into the domed, 65,000-seat stadium. Allegiant Stadium’s bag policy can be found at https://www.allegiantstadium.com/plan-your-visit/bag-check-policy.  Bag check will not be available.

Anyone who is making an appointment for a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine needs to ensure it has been 21 days or more since their first dose. People who receive their first dose of Pfizer vaccine at the clinic and require a second dose will be able to get vaccinated at any Health District or community clinic offering the Pfizer vaccine.

You can be as old as George Blanda and still get a COVID vaccination shot.
