As of 8:30 PM Sunday, the least expensive tickets for Colorado Avalanche vs Vegas Golden Knights Monday were $143 for five seats in the top row of upper bowl section 104.

Otherwise, be prepared to shell out hundreds of dollars for any available lower bowl seats for what will obviously be a sellout of at least 7.567 — the announced attendance games on Friday and Saturday as loosened COVID-19 restrictions have upped fan capacity from 3,950 to the aforementioned 7,567.

If the Golden Knights defeat Colorado, Vegas clinches first in the West Division and plays St. Louis in the first round the playoffs.

If the Avalanche win, that opens the door for Colorado to possibly snag the first place spot. If Colorado and Vegas finish the 56-game pandemic schedule with the same number of points, the Avs win the tiebreaker.

Vegas has been advertising tickets on Facebook for Monday’s “biggest game of the season.” The NHL rescheduled this VGK vs Avs game into this crucial part of the schedule.

Will the Golden Knights try and fit more fans into the venue than the 7,567 number for each of the two games against St. Louis Friday and Saturday? The team is limited by county COVID-19 protocol restrictions.

But the VGK did announce the 7,567 number was the biggest NHL or NBA crowd in the past 14 months since the novel coronavirus shut down both leagues in March 2020.

LVSportsBiz.com will be there at T-Mobile Arena for game and pre-game coverage.

The Las Vegas Aviators had crowds of slightly more than 5,000 baseball fans at the ballpark in Summerlin starting Thursday.

Monday’s NHL schedule:

From the NHL:  “The League-leading Golden Knights (39-13-2, 80 points) would simultaneously secure their first Presidents’ Trophy and third division crown if they defeat the Avalanche (36-13-4, 76 points) in any fashion. Vegas can become the first franchise in the NHL’s modern era (since 1943-44) to finish atop the League standings within its first four seasons – the current benchmark in that time frame is five campaigns, set by the Oilers in 1983-84.”
