VGK Goalie Robin Lehner Takes To Twitter To Clarify COVID-19, NHL, Mental Health Comments To Media Wednesday

Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner, known for his transparent comments and honest demeanor, took the National Hockey League to task for promising more COVID-19 protocol freedoms if players were vaccinated against the novel coronavirus, but not following through on their promises.

Lehner spoke to the media Wednesday morning, unleashing a torrent of comments about the NHL and the mental health impacts of not loosening COVID-19 restrictions that the goaltender said was promised by the league.

He walked back on the term, “prison,” in his media comments in a series of Tweets posted at 11:50 AM today. Here are Lehner’s comments in those tweets that he posted because “everything didn’t come out of today’s press in the right way.”
