One day after Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak said the state is opening up to 100 percent capacity starting June 1, Las Vegas-based UFC said it will hold a blockbuster event at T-Mobile Arena on July 10 that will be headlined by the rubber match of the trilogy between former interim UFC lightweight champion and current No. 1 ranked contender Dustin Poirier and former two-division UFC champion and No. 6 Conor McGregor.

In a release Wednesday, UFC said UFC 264: POIRIER vs. McGREGOR 3 tickets will go on sale Friday at 12 p.m. PT and are available for purchase at axs.com. Ticket sales are limited to eight (8) per person. UFC Fight Club® members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets Thursday, April 15 at 10 a.m. PT via the website www.ufcfightclub.com. A special Internet ticket pre-sale will be available to UFC newsletter subscribers Thursday, April 15 starting at 2 p.m. PT. To access this presale, users must register for the UFC newsletter through UFC.com.

In a stunning upset of McGregor, Poirier pulled off the victory via TKO at 2:32 of the second round Saturday night in the main event of UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Here’s the story on the McGregor loss.

A week from Saturday on April 24, UFC President Dana White will stage UFC 261 in Jacksonville, Florida. White forged ahead last year to hold fight shows during the COVID-19 pandemic and plans to have 15,000 fans at his event in Jacksonville on April 24.

On July 10, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is also scheduled to host a Garth Brooks concert, which was initially set for Aug. 22, 2020, and sold out 65,000 tickets in 75 minutes.
