The Vegas Golden Knights are scheduled to have fans March 1 when the Minnesota Wild come to Las Vegas.

The Golden Knights’ affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League, hope to follow about three weeks later with fans at Orleans Arena later in March.

On Wednesday evening at Orleans Arena, the Silver Knights continued their strong play with a win over the San Diego Gulls.

The Silver Knights’ Town Crier character named, “Herald,” who announces the Silver Knights’ goal with a Medieval Times accent, was back in action during the Silver Knights’ 4-2 win over the Gulls. The Henderson club is 6-1, including 3-0 on home ice.

Fans will enjoy the Herald town crier. With Orleans Arena part of the Orleans hotel-casino, the state gaming commission is also involved in the Silver Knights playing before fans.

The Golden Knights’ game against the San Jose Sharks Thursday was postponed because a Sharks player is on the NHL COVID-19 protocols list. The VGK’s next game is against Anaheim in Southern California Saturday.
