Raiders Drink Up Another Sponsor– Modelo Is ‘Official Cerveza’

By Alan Snel of LVSportsBiz.com

Just last month beer drinkers learned that Molson Coors was the beer sponsor partner of the Las Vegas Raiders and a founding partner of the Raiders’ new stadium.

Well, there’s another official beer — or “cerveza.”  Modelo said Wednesday it has a multi-year team partnership to be an “official cerveza” of  the Raiders and Allegiant Stadium.

As part of the deal, Modelo Especial will offer a 24-oz Raiders can for fans to purchase in stores starting in October.

Outside of logo and marketing rights, the deal also includes various in-stadium fan experiences such as:

  • The Modelo Cantina Club: a 26,000-square-foot space overlooking the 50-yard line with three branded bars.
  • The Modelo Tailgate Zone: a dedicated 300-foot-long location outside of the stadium that will be home to the Raider tailgates during the season (pending fan attendance).

Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi is also the official wine of the Raiders, the latest sponsorship for the No. 3 Glass Wine Brand in the U.S. The partnership is inclusive of logos and marketing rights in market. In addition, Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi will connect with Raider Nation via co-branded displays, consumer offers and local ads.

Inside Allegiant Stadium in the Modelo Cantina Club, there will be the Robert Mondavi Winery Bar.

Constellation Brands owns Modelo and Woodbridge.
