Even VGK character “Phil” made a cameo in the promo that was posted by the team on social media Friday. Phil is played by the team’s corporate sponsorships chief, Jim Frevola. The “Phil” character made his debut during Season 1 in a Golden Knights “Mean Tweets” video that introduced Chance the mascot in 2017.

Ethel M Chocolate is even part of the New Year’s Eve ticket deal as fans get a free chocolate puck for every two tickets they buy under the promotion. Ethel M Chocolate in Henderson is one of the team’s many sponsors.

The Knights play Anaheim in California today at 7 p.m. before returning for a showdown game with the Arizona Coyotes Saturday at the Big Ice House at 7 p.m.
