Newcomb sits on the stadium authority board because the UNLV football team will play in Raiders stadium starting in 2020 and Newcomb also works as the executive director of Sam Boyd Stadium, where the UNLV football team will play one final season in 2019.

We talked about the preparation necessary for UNLV to host the NBA Summer League every year for 15 seasons and the impact of the Summer League on the campus and Las Vegas.
