Nothing stops Golden Knights superfan Matt Helfst from waving his VGK flag in front of the giant video screen on the plaza outside T-Mobile Arena during Knights games.

Not even a rare Las Vegas snowfall could stop the 33-year-old Helfst two nights ago, when visibility was a challenge for the Helfst to watch the Golden Knights play the Boston Bruins amid the flying snow. Before today’s Golden Knights-Winnipeg Jets game, there was Helft with his trademark flag with a few pals who braved the wintry conditions. Helfst claims membership in a Golden Knights superfan club, except he watches games outside the arena on the big screen, not inside like other superfans like the Wolverine.

LVSportsBiz.com spoke with Helfst about how he survived the frigid, snowy conditions Wednesday night outside the arena while watching the VGK-Bruins game.

See you at the Top of the Escalator before the VGK-Jets game.
