Vegas Golden Knights to start selling standing-room-only tickets for inaugural season.

Golden Knights Will Sell SRO Tickets During Inaugural Season

By ALAN SNEL

Sales for individual game tickets for Vegas Golden Knights games are so brisk that the rookie NHL team said today that standing-room-only tickets for as cheap as $50 will be on sale for all home games this inaugural season.

Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz made the announcement Thursday.

What the Golden Knights did not mention in its press release is that the price of the SRO ticket can go up depending on the Golden Knights’ opponent and day of the week.

And the kicker is this statement in the Golden Knights press release: “Standing room is available on both the lower and upper levels, with the standing room area on the upper level offering a partial view of the ice.”

And an interesting twist in the SRO tickets is that fans can also purchase all-inclusive standing room tickets for the mezzanine party deck, which will include beverages and core concession items.
Additionally, fans can host private events on the mezzanine with a half deck rental for parties of up to 125 or a full rental for up to 250 fans on select games. The good news here is that this area offers an unobstructed view of the ice.
The Golden Knights’ first home game is Oct. 10 against Arizona.
