LAS VEGAS, Nevada — It was a rarity: the Las Vegas sports industry had local professional sports teams playing in downtown Las Vegas, on the Strip and out in suburban Summerlin at the same time Saturday night.
The Las Vegas Lights soccer team defeated the Colorado Springs Switchbacks, 2-0, at Cashman Field in downtown Las Vegas. The Lights average about 2,600-2,900 in attendance, but did not include attendance in its game report.
The defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces lost to the Los Angeles Sparks, 101-95, at Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay hotel-casino on the Strip. The Aces had their usual sellout of more than 10,000.
And the Las Vegas Aviators, the Triple-A baseball affiliate of the MLB A’s, lost to the Albuquerque Isotopes, 13-11, on Star Wars Night before a reported attendance of 8,258.

Plus, the popular BTS music group and its army of fans took over Allegiant Stadium Saturday.
