LAS VEGAS, Nevada — It looks like a MLB labor stoppage is quite a possibility for 2027, but the A’s are still forging ahead with selling single-game tickets for what they expect will be their third and final season at a Triple-A ballpark in West Sacramento, California.
The A’s season at Sutter Health Park starts on Monday, April 5, against the Chicago Cubs.
The 75-game home schedule includes series against the Boston Red Sox (June 21-23), Tampa Bay Rays (July 30-August 1), San Francisco Giants (August 27-29), and New York Yankees (September 10-12). The A’s will also celebrate two popular summer holidays at home, hosting the Los Angeles Angels on Mother’s Day (May 9) and the Kansas City Royals on Labor Day (Sept. 6).
Meanwhile, the A’s are selling their premium club seats well at the new stadium on the Strip. It’s a $2 billion domed venue with a capacity for 33,000 fans. Under a 2023 Nevada state bill, the public is contributing $380 million towards the stadium construction at the former Tropicana hotel-casino site at the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue.
There will also be six regular season games at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin and those tickets will go on sale at a later date.
For 2027, the Athletics are pitching a Sacramento Saturdays Pack that includes two tickets to all 12 Saturday home games in West Sacramento for $916. Each Saturday, A’s players will wear their gold Sacramento jersey, and fans will receive a Sacramento-themed giveaway.
In A’s news Tuesday, the Athletics reinstated infielder Joshua Kuroda-Grauer from the 60-day injured list and placed infielder Max Muncy on the 10-day injured list with left knee chondromalacia. To clear a spot on the 40-man roster, the A’s transferred right-handed pitcher J.T. Ginn to the 60-day IL.
The A’s are 61-95 on the season, which has been marked by a long list of injured players and weak pitching.
