LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Let’s face it. Any basketball team with A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young will compete for a championship.

Both Wilson and Young were at their professional level against the New York Liberty Thursday, as the duo combined for 62 points in the Aces’ 104-99 win over the Liberty.

Add in Chelsea Gray’s point guard skills and 16 points tonight, and you have another Las Vegas Aces team that will compete for a fourth WNBA title in five years.

Young was blistering hot in the first quarter, pouring in 15 points before the Aces took a 52-44 lead into halftime.

Wilson showed why she’s the best player on the planet as she had 28 points after three quarters with the Aces leading NY, 78-71, after three quarters.

It was a well-played game between two WNBA contenders, with the Aces closing out the win to improve to 20-8.

Wilson has 33 points and Young added 29.
