LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Las Vegas folks will get an update Tuesday from A’s officials about their $2 billion domed baseball stadium scheduled to open on the Strip in less than two years in 2028.
The Clark County commissioners are slated to get the stadium update at their board meeting Tuesday morning at the county government center.

LVSportsBiz.com has learned the A’s are talking with local residents in focus groups about their opinions on the stadium and ticket sales.
The A’s will want to sell high-end premium seats that will require a personal seat license (PSL) charge of the fan who wants to buy a season premium seat ticket.
A’s owner John Fisher said his family, which owns the Gap retail empire, has enough money to pay the stadium construction bills. An approved state law earmarked $380 million in government assistance for the A’s stadium construction, but the A’s said they will use $350 million of the $380 million.
The A’s will also appear before the Las Vegas Stadium Board Thursday.
The A’s were blasted by the Giants, 10-1, Sunday. Through 46 games, the A’s have won exactly the same number of games that they have lost. The team is 23-23, yet leading the American League West by a game over the Texas Rangers.
