LAS VEGAS. Nevada — It’s Las Vegas’ biggest convention.

CES — the Consumer Electronics Show — is back Tuesday to Friday, with sports technology expected to be sprinkled into the vast displays at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Venetian Expo and hotel spaces in the Strip corridor.

Typically, sports gambling and electronic screens are popular at CES, which usually attracts at least 140,000 people, 4,500 exhibitors and 6,000 media members.  About 40 percent of the participants are normally from outside the U.S. from about 160 countries, with hundreds of stage techs setting up displays.

You know A1, robots and all types of tech devices will be on display at the convention centers, which attract thousands of international visitors.

LVSportsBiz.com plans to attend the event’s signature media day event at Mandalay Bay Sunday. What’s interesting is that the Sunday media event called, “CES Unveiled,” typically features high-tech bicycles that include some fascinating gizmos.
