LAS VEGAS, Nevada — The MLB A’s, planning to open a new domed stadium on the Strip in 2028, are spending some time in Las Vegas in 2026.
Not only are the A’s playing six regular season games at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin in June, the team is playing two spring training games at the same venue March 7 and 8 as part of Big League Weekend.
The A’s are playing the Los Angeles Angels each game, Saturday and Sunday, at 1:05 PM. Below is a photo of A’s owner John Fisher at the March 2025 Big League Weekend at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin.

In 2026, the A’s are playing the Milwaukee Brewers at Triple-A Las Vegas Ballpark June 8, 9 and 10 and then will also host the Colorado Rockies June 12, 13 and 14 at the same venue in Downtown Summerlin.
The A’s are building a 33,000-fan stadium at the old Tropicana hotel site at the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue. The team plans to have the stadium construction finished for the 2028 Major League Baseball season. It’s slated for nine acres on the 35-acre site. A rendering is below.
