LAS VEGAS, Nevada — The Las Vegas Raiders had fun with their 2025 schedule reveal Wednesday, needling the Chargers for never winning a Super Bowl and goofing on the Chiefs via the humor of local Las Vegas duo Penn and Taylor for drawing penalty flags that go in their favor.
The 6:50 video, which can be viewed here, included cameos by a variety of characters who included minority owner Tom Brady (with a real goat), superfan Wayne “The Violator” Mabry, offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson, head coach Pete Carroll, beat writer Vincent Bonsignore and the aforementioned Penn and Teller.
The schedule reveal even featured a reenactment of Marcus Allen’s famed touchdown run against Washington in the Jan. 1984 Super Bowl in Tampa where the Raiders demolished Washington, 38-9, in Super Bowl 18. Jim Plunkett, the Raiders quarterback, and Allen teamed up for the run that was reenacted in the Raiders training center in Henderson.
Many NFL teams have fun with these schedule reveals, with nationwide fans planning their annual pilgrimages around the announced game dates.
The Raiders open their season on the road against the New England Patriots Sept. 7 and then play their home-opener against the Chargers at Allegiant Stadium on Monday Night Football Sept. 15.
Other home games include the Bears Sept. 28, Titans Oct. 12, Jaguars Nov. 2, Cowboys Nov. 17, Browns Nov. 23, Broncos Dec. 7, Giants week 17 and Chiefs week 18.
The bye week is week 8 on the final week of October.
The Raiders won only four of 17 games in 2024.
