LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Vegas Golden Knights fans know Mark Shunock as a VGK home game emcee at T-Mobile Arena, but the popular entertainer now has another new gig and even a new name that goes with his new job.

Shunock has left his announcer job at Las Vegas-based Top Rank boxing and is the ring announcer for WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown.

Shunock — known as “Mark Nash” for his WWE gig — just made his debut.

Shunock is one of Las Vegas’ most versatile performers.

He’s a former Broadway actor and singer from Canada who played goalie for an Ontario Hockey League team and used his entertainment and hockey background to be a natural as a game emcee for the NHL Golden Knights.

He then became a Top Rank boxing announcer before parlaying that into the WWE role.

Shunock’s Mondays Dark charity work is also prominent as the variety show has raised nearly $2 million for charities in Las Vegas. And he recently announced a plan to build a $50 million community center called The Space 2.0 for educators, entertainers, hospitality workers, students and first responders.

Shunock’s Mondays Dark variety shows have raised more than $1 million.

And he already has a fan at WWE.

WWE operates under TKO Group Holdings Inc., created by Endeavor to combine WWE and Las Vegas-based Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) under a single corporate banner.

Earlier this month, UFC boss Dana White announced that he’s entering the boxing promotion world, so don’t be surprised if Shunock also does boxing ring announcing because both WWE and UFC are corporate siblings.

Shunock did say there’s also a job he won’t give up even though he’s announcing for WWE.

He will continue to work Vegas Golden Knights games as an emcee.
