LAS VEGAS, Nevada — If I ever get a chance to ask Tom Brady one question, it would be what will he doing about the Las Vegas Raiders’ chronic and perennial losing ways.

The new minority owner of the fabled Raiders franchise now owns five percent of a National Football League team that has won more games than it has lost in a season twice in the last 21 seasons and has won two of six games in 2024.

Brady, who won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and one with Tampa Bay, received the approval of NFL owners to own a share of the Raiders after owner Mark Davis attempted to sell a piece of the team at a discounted rate.

He has become good friends with Davis.

Brady already had Davis’ ear because the 47-year-old former NFL quarterback bought a share of Davis’ Las Vegas Aces of the WNBA. Brady attended at least one Aces game this season.

Brady issued this statement:

Brady broadcasts NFL games for FOX Sports, so the league has placed restrictions on Brady’s access to other NFL teams because he could potentially use his “game research” on teams he’s covering for a FOX broadcast as intel for the Raiders.
