Aces star A’ja Wilson put her stamp on the 2024 WNBA season by scoring her 1,000th point of the season during the Las Vegas Aces’ win over the Connecticut Sun before a record Aces crowd of 10,431 at Mandalay Bay’s Michelob Ultra Arena Sunday.

The Aces’ 84-71 win over the Sun pulled Las Vegas within two games of the Sun with two games left in the WNBA’s 40-game season. The Aces are 25-13, while the Sun are 27-11. If the Aces win their final two and the Sun lose their final two,  the Aces will claim the 3 seed and likely play Indiana in the first round of the WNBA playoffs. If the Aces finish with the 4 seed, they will likely play Seattle.

The Las Vegas Aces have sold out their season tickets for 2025 after 92 percent of the season ticket holders renewed their deals and the other eight percent of fans came from the season ticket waiting list.

LVSportsBiz.com saw this coming after reporting in late August that 91 percent of the 8,592 season ticket holders had renewed their deals.

The Aces, which will try to win a third consecutive WNBA title in this year’s playoffs that start in a few weeks, now play before sold out crowds at Mandalay Bay’s Michelob Ultra Arena.

The Aces increased season ticket prices for the first time since Aces/Raiders owner Mark Davis bought the team from MGM Resorts International.

The season ticket cost increased to nearly $44 per seat in 2025 from nearly $31 in 2024.

The Aces defeated the Indiana Fever, 78-74, Friday night to improve to 24-13. Th Aces play the Sun Sunday at Mandalay Bay. It looks like the Aces might play Seattle in 4-5 seed matchup in the first round of the playoffs.

A limited number of first round playoff tickets will go on sale to the public Sept. 18 at 10AM PT.
