Dana White leads an active life.

When he’s not introducing Donald Trump as the Republican nominee for president of the United States, he’s on social media talking about his fasting diet while displaying his shirtless physique.

But on Saturday, White takes his life to a whole new level when he puts on his ultimate fight show — UFC 306 at the Sphere in Las Vegas with the MMA fight show promoter’s first even title sponsor, Riyadh Season Noche UFC.

Never shying from deploying hyperbole, White’s UFC declared UFC 306 at the Sphere as, “the greatest sporting event of all time.”

The Sphere behind the Venetian will be morphed into a sports event venue, hosting live competitive sports for the first time after it hosted the National Hockey League Draft event in June.

As of Saturday at 12 noon, the cheapest get-in ticket on the secondary market was $700.

UFC sent probably the longest press release in UFC history and it listed these whiz-bang features:

    • 160,000 sq. ft. and 16K x 16K resolution interior display plane
      • In comparison, an IMAX movie screen is less than 4,000 sq. ft.
    • The world’s highest resolution LED display
    • The world’s most advanced concert-grade audio system
    • Haptic seats, where fans will feel the action like never before, as their seats provide force feedback based on the action in the Octagon
      • First time UFC has ever used haptic seats during an event
    • The Exosphere will be utilized throughout the night with key art and highlights to bring fans closer to the event
    • In-house stats and information feeds will showcase real-time stats and fighter information integrated

Even the fighter kits have some razz-mattazz. The design was in collaboration with creative consultant Jorge Gutierrez and UFC’s official outfitting partner Venum.

    • Design pays homage to Mexican Independence and the revered Gods of ancient Aztec mythology. The gods Huitzilopochtli, Quetzalcoatl, Tezcatlipoca, Itzcuauhtli, and Tonatiuh tell the story of power, resilience and unity
    • Each jersey contains a Noche UFC badge with the official date of the first Mexican independence celebration (September 16, 1810)

UFC 306 at the Sphere is going head-to-head Saturday against the Canelo Alvarez versus Edgar Belanger boxing match at T-Mobile Arena.

Both events are Mexican Independence Day-theme fight shows.

The UFC event will have a fanfest.

  • 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Friday, September 13 and 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 14
  • Event will include athlete meet & greets, interactive photo-ops, a Mariachi band, Folkorico dancers, opportunities to shop Noche UFC merchandise, and more
