Coming off two straight WNBA titles, the Las Vegas Aces told LVSportsBiz.com Friday that 91 percent of 8,592 season ticket holders have renewed their season deals for 2025 even with a boost in ticket prices.
Aces/Raiders owner Mark Davis and Matt Delsen, the Aces’ chief operating officer and chief financial officer, credited a loyal fan base for having a renewal rate of more than 90 percent despite the fact that the average season ticket cost increased to nearly $44 in 2025 from nearly $31 in 2025.
Davis said before the Aces’ 83-72 win over the Atlanta Dream that some fans didn’t renew their season ticket deals because they moved from the Las Vegas area.
Davis said there is 2,500-3,000 fans on an Aces season ticket waiting list, so some of those fans will get a chance to snag season tickets for 2025.
“Our fan base is unbelievable. The team is unbelievable,” Davis said. His right arm was in a sling. Davis said it was from rotator cuff surgery.
Attendance was 10,397.
The Aces rank fourth in attendance in the WNBA, according to this graphic on accrossthetimeline.com.
The Aces won their 19th win against 12 losses with a win against a stubborn Atlanta team, which hung around the entire game. The Aces led the Dream by four to 12 points throughout the second half to clinch a playoff spot.
The Aces won 34 of 40 games in 2023. But 2024 has been a different story. The Aces were 6-6 with point guard Chelsea Gray missing the first dozen games.
Everyone has been calling A’ja Wilson the league’s MVP because she has been the dominant bright spot for the Aces this season.
The Aces season ticket holders will get first dibs on their seats for the WNBA postseason. The teams with the eight best records make the playoffs and it will be seeded 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5.
The Aces might play Seattle in the first round, but there are still games left in the regular season before the matchups are set.
