Summerlin master developer Howard Hughes Corporation has officially wrapped up spinning off its Seaport Entertainment into a private company, Seaport Entertainment Group, Inc., which owns the Triple-A baseball Las Vegas Aviators and the Aviators baseball stadium, Las Vegas Ballpark.

In October 2017, Howard Hughes Corp. was able to garner an $80 million naming rights deal from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) to help build the $150 million minor league stadium in Downtown Summerlin net to the Vegas Golden Knights training center and HQ. The Aviators are the Triple-A affiliate of the Athletics, which received a $380 million government assistance package to build a $1.5 billion domed stadium on the Strip.
