Raiders Fans In SoCal Rejoice: Silver and Black Will Hold Summer Training Camp In Costa Mesa

By Alan Snel, LVSportsBiz.com Publisher-Writer

The Las Vegas Raiders are taking their summer training camp on the road to Costa Mesa in Southern California from July 19 to Aug. 11.

The Raiders have trained at their headquarters in Henderson since the team moved to metro Las Vegas in 2020.

But under the first full season under permanent head coach Antonio Pierce, the Raiders will seek to create team bonding at the former NFL training site of division rival, the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Raiders have a strong fan base in Southern California, with many SoCal fans driving on the weekends to Las Vegas to see the Raiders’ new football stadium when it was under construction.

The Raiders will train at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex, with the Costa Mesa City Council already approving the deal this month.
