The slumping Vegas Golden Knights welcomed two new players to their lineup Thursday night for their game against the Vancouver Canucks.
Defenseman Noah Hanifin, who took the spot of an injured Alec Martinez, and forward Anthony Mantha made their VGK debuts.

Story line: Vegas continues its slumping ways as goalie Adin Hill went from Vezina-level play to mediocre goaltending. Vancouver’s second goal by Phillip Di Giuseppe in first period was a weak score as Giuseppe slid the puck under Hill’s left pad as the Canucks surged to a 2-0 lead in the first stanza. Quinn Hughes scored the Canucks’ first goal. After a VGK turnover ion period two, Hill couldn’t handle a rebound and Conor Garland picked up the puck and deposited it into the net for a 3-1 lead after two periods.
