The Pac-12 championship football game at Allegiant Stadium is sold out for a highly-anticipated game with national championship implications.
Unbeaten Washington is in the game set for Friday at 5PM Dec. 1.
The Huskies’ opponent is either Oregon or Arizona.
If Oregon defeats state rival Oregon State Friday, the Ducks will play Washington in a matchup of Heisman Award candidates — Oregon quarterback Bo Nix and Washington QB Michael Penix, Jr. The Huskies defeated Oregon earlier this season.
But if Oregon loses and Arizona defeats Arizona State, the conference title game will match Washington vs Arizona.
Arizona fans are known to travel well to Las Vegas.
An Oregon/Washington game at Allegiant Stadium could be a showdown between Top 5 national teams.
The Pac-12 conference championship game has been a sellout for about a month. Last year’s USC vs Utah Pace-12 final game in Las Vegas was also a sellout at 61,195. With Pac-12 teams moving to other conferences next season, this could be the final Pac-12 title game in Las Vegas.
Less than 24 hours after the Pac-12 championship game Dec. 1, the Mountain West Conference title game will be played at the same stadium at 12 noon Dec. 2 if UNLV wins its final regular season game Saturday.
