Formula One Road Paving: Get Ready For Road Closures On Strip Next Week For Las Vegas Grand Prix

Sections of Las Vegas Boulevard will be closed for road paving next week as part of the preparation of the Las Vegas Grand Prix Formula One car race in November.

The west side of Las Vegas Boulevard, or the southbound lanes, will be closed from Caesars Palace to Harmon Avenue from Tuesday 12:01AM to Friday 9AM. During this closure, all northbound and southbound traffic will be routed through single lanes on the east side of Las Vegas Boulevard.

Plus, Flamingo Road eastbound will be closed at Las Vegas Boulevard Wednesday at 12:01AM to Friday at 12:01AM.

The final road paving for the 3.8-mile route is July 16 – Sept. 15.

The F1 race event is set for Nov. 16-18.

The event caters to rich race fans. There are ticket deals that cost $1 million and $5 million. There was a recent announcement about several hospitality ticket arrangements that cost in the thousands of dollars.
