After missing the playoffs last season, the Vegas Golden Knights will host the Winnipeg Jets in Round 1 as the number one seed in the Western Conference.

The VGK-Jets Game 1 is set for Tuesday in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena. Game 2 is set for Thursday April 20, also at home.

Minutes after the Golden Knights defeated the Seattle Kracken on the road Thursday, the team sent out an email asking fans to buy tickets with this graphic.

The VGK racked up 111 points to edge out the Edmonton Oilers as Pacific Division champs by two points.

The Knights’ coach last season, Pete DeBoer, is trying to win the Central Division with his Dallas Stars.

Vegas’ current coach, Bruce Cassidy, guided the Knights to the best record in the West, while Cassidy’s old team from last season — the Boston Bruins — made the record books with 65 wins this season.
