Before snow flurries fell on Las Vegas Tuesday, making it feel really like winter, Vegas Golden Knights fans paid $500 apiece to attend the annual VGK Gala at Resorts World Las Vegas to hob-nob with players, snap photos with the Knights and munch on tasty food.

It was a fundraising setting for people to wear semi-formal clothing while schmoozing in an informal way.

There were VGK and other sports items auctioned off to help raise money for the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.

In all, $1.2 million was raised from the gala Monday night.

The Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World was the setting.

In past years, the VGK have held the fundraiser in other hotels like Wynn XS Club in February 2020.
