While the exact capacity for the Las Vegas Super Bowl is still to be determined for Allegiant Stadium in February 2024, there are no plans for any major temporary seating additions at the stadium, LVSportsBiz.com has learned.

That means the stadium capacity for Super Bowl 58 in 2024 will be in the area of about 62,000, which is the number of fixed seats in the domed stadium that is run by the Las Vegas Raiders and located just west of the Strip.

Keep in mind, like for any event at Allegiant Stadium, there’s always the possibility of conversions here and there around the venue. But there are no plans to date for any additional temporary seating for, let’s say, 10,000 more fans.

If you added 10,000 fans to the 62,000-seat stadium, it could change the quality of the venue experience. It would impact everything from finding space for cars at an already parking-challenged stadium to the lines to use the bathrooms around the venue.

The NFL is focused on putting on Super Bowl 57 in Arizona in three months, so the league did not have a comment regarding this issue in Las Vegas.

But the Raiders, charged with managing the stadium, have not heard any word or plans for bulking up the 2024 Super Bowl game capacity by a big chunk of temporary seating.

Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee and the LVCVA are working on hosting the NFL’s championship game.
