The New England Patriots, led by coach Bill Belichick, are in Las Vegas this week for practices and an exhibition game Friday.

But it’s not the only time the Patriots will be in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Raiders host the Patriots Dec. 18 for a Sunday Night Football Game during the regular season.

And the starting ticket prices for both games are about $250 apart, according to secondary market seat company SeatGeek. The get-in price for Friday’s preseason game is $44, while the cheapest price on SeatGeek just to walk into Allegiant Stadium in December is $293.

At the Raiders team store at Allegiant Stadium, they’re ready with the old-timers and the new fellas.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is scheduled to meet the press later Tuesday morning. He’s a chatterbox up at the lectern so stay tuned for a few comments later. Here’s a LVSportsBiz.com photo from a previous Carr appearance in the media room during training camp in Henderson.

The media has 30 minutes to take video and photos. Today’s video/photo session ended at 9:19AM. Unfortunately, the video/photo window did not include any practices where the Raiders and Patriots were practicing together. The two teams engaged in activities like line of scrimmage practices where linemen from both teams collided into each other and receivers were covered by defensive backs on pass plays. But those happened after the 30-minute window.

Carr: “There’s always room, in certain areas, to always improve.”

Carr on coach Josh McDaniels: “Growing that relationship . . .  I’m asking questions and learning as much as I can.”

Carr on Dana White explaining that former coach Jon Gruden killed the deal to to have Tom Brady and Gronk play for the Raiders in 2020: “Hopefully no more drama.” Carr said he was dealing with a Raiders employee who lost a close person — and he noted that put things in perspective.
